We Need Some Kind Of Exchange System!!!
I think this game is perfect in almost every way except one.the game has so many items that it is hard to know the approximate value of everything. I think this game needs a market demand based trading system. Have some central outpost made just for trading items. It could be in a place like the temple of balthazar where no mater what game you have you could still get to it.
At this place you could load your items that you are looking to sell. the key is that when you put your item for sale you would get a market price guide of what the item has been selling for. if the item has been selling for alot then the price you see raises. and vice versa if the price in the market has been falling. You could leave this item in this special storage untill it sells.
on the other hand if you are lookin to buy an item you would see the same price the seller sees. From here you could set a max price you are willing to pay. You would upload your money into the exchange untill your item you are seeking becomes available.
The price would flucate by the supply and demand of items. If there is a large supply and little demand then the market price would fall and vice versa if the price would rise.
I think this would solve alot of issues. It would get rid of most of those annoying selling post and it would help playersof all levels buy and sell items.
Let me know what you guys think
Doug

This has been wanted for a while and suggested many times. The "official unofficial" name for it is the Xunlai Market.

we all know runescape is an sorry excuse for an mmorpg... that why we all play GW...
This game is an MMORPG not a merchanting... If you would spend all the time merchanting you would be wasting time that could actually be spent playing... Merchanting is not fun and IMO destroys the game... I never knew there was people that actually like merchanting and i guess that why it hasnt been implemented yet....

Well, it wouldn't hurt to have a better trading system. In other games you could enter a special "trading area" where people were buying and selling. You could set up a shop and just leave it running, and people could come up and see what you were selling or buying. You didn't have to be there for it. You could come back later and see if you sold anything. You could also run around and see what other people were selling, so it's kinda like a constant market. Something like that might work, but like other people said, not gonna happen in gw1.

power trading IS fun for many people
take a few minutes every week to research prices... you have internet access, use it. Leave GW1 like it is, if you don't like the current system of trading go play another game or wait for GW2....

Yes, because people do not like an aspect of a game they just have to give up and quit on a game...

It's been suggested before ... and the best way would be an auction house. But they are not changing the trading in GW...
I hope however they put it in GW2

Maybe you should ask for a stock exchange in GW2 so you can powertrade all you want and leave the simple action house for the rest of us poor mortals.

like, oh, I dunno...an auction house, auction house, or maybe an AUCTION HOUSE?
It's been suggested more times than every wammo in the world has used Frenzy and Healsig at the same time.
